At Rebecca's Little Survivors Foundation, we support children and families who've endured grief and loss by providing culturally responsive and culturally sensitive coping tools and resiliency skills through literacy, fitness, outdoor exploration and the arts. Our goal is to be the resource and connect them with  amazing individuals who embrace, heal, commune and help them to still win at life.

Through our camps, workshops, virtual series and special events, we strengthen bonds by developing culturally competent and relevant tools and mentorship opportunities.

Here's a message from Former Staten Island Borough President James Oddo to mini campers!

Elijah for Testimonial .jpg

Elijah, Junior Camp Counselor

It’s great working with the youth, I am inspired and can’t wait for camp next year! I help set up the obstacle course, which is my favorite! This year, I’ll be teaching a Yoga class at camp. I’m excited, this is special work, different from any other camp I’ve attended or worked with. I’m inspired by the strength and resilience of the mini campers!

Mrs. Johnson, Grandparent

After the murders of my daughter and son, it has been really hard. It’s even harder on my son’s children. I am grateful for The Little Survivors Mini Camp, my grandson sleeps better at night and I have witnessed…… I also love that the children are safe and all information is confidential.

Nick, US National Park Ranger

I’ve enjoyed working with the mini campers. We taught tools aligned with our mission and the camp’s mission. They were engaged and eager to learn more!
